This is backed up with the opportunity to attend fortnightly video tasting tutorials plus tutor support via email or telephone when required. This is an ideal course for anyone preferring a more flexible approach to studying for this qualification.
How Does It Work?
The process is simple. Upon booking the course, you will receive access to the online course which provides many different resources to help you work through the syllabus. You will also be sent the digital WSET studypack which accompanies the course. You then go at your own pace and follow the course modules, making use of the extensive practice questions in each module and in the Mock Assessment section.
The web based courses and resources contain all the information you need to study in order to pass the exams at the end of the course. Your studies can be enhanced with our optional monthly theory tutorials. These focus on a particular region or subject matter featured in the Level 3 syllabus.
You are also invited to attend fortnightly Video Tasting sessions where we follow the tasting process required for the Level 3 exam. This will help you calibrate your tasting skills in preparation for the tasting exam. Level 3 exams must be sat in person at our Exam Centre. Details can be found on our Exam Schedule page.
Tutor Support is available throughout the course. This can be a 1-1 video session, email correspondence or by phone/text.
Once you feel ready to take the exam, get in touch with us to arrange a time and date to sit the exam.
Results are issued via email 8-10 weeks after sitting the exam, with certificates following shortly afterwards.
Optional Virtual Tutorial Sessions
You are invited to join our virtual tasting and theory tutorial sessions held throughout each month. These are additional learning resources and if you prefer not to attend, this will not affect the outcome of your exam.
